In short

1. Who is responsible

DevOpsSchool Private Limited runs xOps School (www.xopsschool.com) and is responsible for your personal data. Contact: contact@xopsschool.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your name and email address (from Google when you sign in with Google), and your profile details you choose to add.
  • Batch students: details your trainer or the batch join form collects – phone number, date of birth, office email, job title, company, city and country.
  • Learning activity: which activities you opened, quiz attempts and answers, assignment submissions, grades, progress and certificates.
  • Coffee Pass and payments: pass dates, payment amount, currency and PayPal reference, receipts and credit notes, and any billing details you add (name, company, address, country, tax ID).
  • Sign-in codes (L&D / HR partners): a scrambled copy of the code and the IP address of the request, deleted after 2 days.
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser and the pages you used, for security and to show your learning history.

3. Why we use it

To give you access to courses, track your progress, issue and verify certificates, process payments and keep accounting records, report a batch's progress to its trainer and L&D / HR contact, send service emails (certificates, receipts, reminders, sign-in codes) and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Who can see it

  • Your batch trainer and xOps School administrators: your batch details, progress, results and certificates.
  • Your batch's L&D / HR contact (usually your employer's training team): your name, email, progress, test results and certificates – never your phone number or date of birth.
  • Anyone with a certificate ID: the public verification page (xopsschool.com/verify) shows the holder's name, course, date and result.
  • Service providers that run parts of the site for us: Google (sign-in), PayPal (payments), Amazon Web Services (email delivery and video hosting) and our server hosting provider.

5. Cookies

We use one essential cookie (MoodleSession) that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Google and PayPal may set their own cookies when you use their sign-in or payment windows.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. Receipts and credit notes are kept for the period accounting and tax law requires, even after an account is deleted. Details per data type: data retention summary.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update your profile at any time. Write to contact@xopsschool.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account; we reply as soon as possible. Your receipts are always on My Coffee Pass.
